both of Ridgeway in Henry County VirginiaWilliam Jr. son of William and Susanna (West?) Pace born 1764 married Susannah Haynes in 1784. Their known children are Daniel Phoebe and William. (the two authors descdend from Daniel)
Captain John Pace (oldest child of William and Susanna above) and Elizabeth Nunn son William Ingram (their eldest child) born 8 July 1773 died 1843 marriend Sally Nunn.
Langston Pace born 1770 son of William and Susannah was a best friend of his nephew William Ingram mentioned above. The two men married sisters Millie and Sally Nunn in the same year 1796. Langston named his son William Ingram Pace. Langston and his nephew William Ingram led the exodus from Henry county to Kentucky. Langston settled in what was to become Metcalfe county (he named a creek Marrowbone) and William Ingram moved a few miles northwest into Barren county (which became Metcalfe) and established a town called Summer Shade.
Langston's son William Ingram Pace born 10 February 1809 in Marrowbone KY married Sally Vawter on 15 September 1828 and they set out for Illinois. They stopped in Mt Vernon KY to visit Uncle Joel Pace and arrived in northwestern Illinois in the fall of 1829. He served in the Black Hawk War and attained the rank of Captain. His company was probably involved in the arrest of Joseph Smith (of the so called Mormons). He died in 1855 and his sons became prominent citizens in the town of Macomb Illinois.

...Generation #6 is not given by Bruce but is from my database. Bruce discusses the fact that the earliest two Benjamins above both acted as overseers of the Edwin Thacker Plantation in King and Queen Co. Perhaps Hardenia Thacker was a daughter or other relation of Edwin Thacker. Benjamin Pace b abt 1700 had 9 children by his two wives. The only children I know of for Benjamin F. Pace, Sr. are Benjamin F. Pace, Jr. and Polly. For Benjamin Jr. I have 2 sons, Martin Marion b 1830 and John Wilson Pace b 7/16/1824. I would be interested in the names and spouses of the other children of Benjamin Jr. The above lineage is probably controversial.
I would suggest that you examine Bruce's documentation and his arguments before you decide whether to accept it.
