    + ELIZABETH COX

MARRIAGE 1863 when she was 23, spinster of West Bromwich,
    father WILLIAM COX, gardener.

    WITNESSES were

JOHN COX who signed with a cross
    (presumably brother of Elizabeth)
    and ANN GALE who signed.

It is interesting that brother JOHN signed and spelt his name CULWICK, yet it became CULLWICK from then on.

HARRIET GRIMMETT who was born in STRATFORD appears to have been born 1842 and married PITTAWAY. John's HARRIET was born 1844, according to age on her death certificate, in WILMCOTE Warwickshire (1881 census return). There are two IGI baptisms for a HARRIET GRIMMETT in 1842 and none in 1844. One is in Stratford and one is in Aston Cantlow. Now WILMCOTE is where MARY ARDEN's house is situated, a village half way between ASTON CANTLOW and STRATFORD and not a parish in its own right. Possibly the parish is Old Stratford.
